Announcements:

Thank you to the many parents who volunteered their time and expertise this year to help make Troop 153 a fun and formative experience for our scouts.  This year, we have offered 12 merit badges.   Of these, 7 were Eagle-required badges, involving significant effort for both scouts and the parents who generously volunteered to be badge counselors.  This is a big number for any any troop.  Without the generous contributions of our parents, it simply wouldn't be possible for the troop to operate. 

Special thanks to Will Brote who very capably stepped up as Scoutmaster this year.  Will's agility in orchestrating the many people and resources that make a troop function, as well as his diplomatic skills are inspirational.

Again this year, we are indebted to Paula Schwenk for her too-many-to-enumerate contributions as Troop Committee Chair.  She is always ready with a guiding hand, supportive words, and detailed knowledge of the labyrinthian Boy Scout rules and organization.

We've had a big year.  There are nearly 60 merit badges and 8 rank advancements that have been earned by our scouts since February.

Now, it's time for good food, good company, and recognition of our scouts for all their hard work and achievements.   Here's the agenda: 

     6:30 Set-up, conversation and games
     7:00 Dinner
     7:30 Award Ceremony


Please bring a desert (if your last name begins with A-E), salad (last names beginning with F-N) or drinks (last names of O-Z).

SPECIAL NOTE TO SCOUTS:  Please wear your uniforms.
