1)Weston Boy Scout Troop 153 new Eagle Scouts: Keith Weisberg, Benjamin Doyle and Matthew Doyle.  (listed left to right)

These three new Eagle Scouts bring the total to 79 members of Troop 153 who have attained Boy Scouting’shighest rank. Nationally, only 5% of all Boy Scouts reach Eagle rank.  To complete their Eagle requirements, the scouts completed community service projects in Weston.  Those projects were:  Ben Doyle: replacing erosion rails on the Weston Conservation Land trails with Lands Sake;  Matt Doyle: Refurbishing and improving a storage building on Lands Sake farm; Keith Weisberg: establishing and managing a snow shoveling program for homebound seniors through the Weston Council on Aging.  Troop 153 meets every Thursday evening at the First Baptist Church of Weston which has sponsored Boy Scout Troop 153 for the past 58 years.
